Bibinje is situated southeast from the historical city Zadar, between the Adriatic tourist road and the sea. Bibinje has a four kilometer coast with beaches and pathways. The name Bibano/Bibanum (Bibinje) dates as far back as the 11th century. Population always depended on agriculture and cattle breeding, followed by the fishing tradein more recent times. It’s area is about 70,000 m2, and it is the largest Adriatic marina with 1,400 berths.
